After living in Africa, Alaska, Scotland, New England, and Idaho, television and feature writer Christian Lybrook found his wheelhouse writing dark genre pieces set in uncommon locales.
His feature-length thriller screenplay Dead Don’t Speak is currently in development with producer Noah Lang (THE CLIMB). Lybrook’s crime drama series, Zaire, inspired by a true story about an American ex-pat and his ever-escalating illegal endeavors in the Congo in the 1970s, is in development with Emmy-Nominee Jeff Most’s Most Media (The Crow, Viaplay’s Professionals).
Christian is a Fellow of The Gotham’s (formerly IFP) Episodic Lab, Cinestory’s TV Writers Retreat, and the Plume & Pellicule Screenwriting residency in Sierre, Switzerland. His pilot for the pre-apocalyptic thriller Zero Point (co-created with Gregory Bayne) was selected for the first-ever Tribeca Film Festival’s Digital Creators Market and later premiered at the festival.
